Quarantine

Jay Hernandez, Jennifer Carpenter, and Johnathon Schaech star in this remake of the Spanish-language horror film "[REC]", concerning a reporter and a cameraman who are trapped in a quarantined Los Angeles apartment building as a highly contagious rabies contaminant begins to infect the unsuspecting tenants.

I didn't know what to expect of this movie. 5 minutes into it and I thought I wouldn't like it because it seemed low-budget. You know that "blair-witch" hand-held camera effect kind of movie. But you know what... I liked it!!!

Yes the story was bull and lame and not there but who cares. All I know is that this movie kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time. It was one of the most jumpy and suspenseful movies that I have seen in a while. And I loooveeee movies that make you jump out of your seat! haha. Plus the rabies angle in the movie was odd but interesting, especially for dog lovers/owners like me.

The only annoying thing was the girl's acting. There were parts she was so damn noisy, breathing so loud (almost moaning) in fear from the infected. It's so funny because if people were eavesdropping from outside the theater, they would probably think we were watching porn because of the girl's never-ending heavy breathing.

So if you guys want a good scare, go see this movie. I've seen mixed reviews on yahoo movies about this film but my rating is 4/5.
