We went to the Gelato World Tour at the Marina Bay Sands last Mar 22 because the friend of my flatmate Kri is one of the contestants and the official representative from the Philippines.
The tickets were really cheap as you could taste 8 gelatos for $12. In fact, I had so much gelato that day I probably won't have gelato for at least the next year haha.
16 gelato artisans from New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Thailand and Singapore gathered to compete for the coveted title for the best gelato in Asia Pacific.
Singapore won the title for this Asia Pacific leg, while Philippines won the People's choice award. My personal favorites were Numbers 3 & 6.
