Absence makes the heart grow fonder

Well hello my dear 7 readers! hehe. I couldn't think of any other title about my absence in the blogging world haha. Anyway, here I am still trying.

First of all, to get this out of the way, I'm not on the Cohen diet anymore - which is why you haven't seen any update about my diet and my weight on the ticker in this blog (I'll just keep the ticker there for remembrance haha). Boo to me. I will probably most likely be fat obese my whole life but as long as I'm happy I think that's what matters. I'm sure a lot of people out there are judging me saying I'm a lazy bum and a quitter for broadcasting about my diets but continuously failing. Well, it is what it is. I will just continue to try and eat healthier (most of the time) and just be happy.

And I am happy! God has been great and I have been blessed. If you've read my previous posts, I just started a new job. Went for training in San Francisco USA and going back for training again in Boston next week. I am grateful and always thankful. God is good great!

Now if I could only find time to update this blog haha. I still haven't posted about our Dubai Trip, our Cambodia adventures, my training in San Francisco, my upcoming Phuket trip this weekend and, as mentioned, my training in Boston next week. I need an assistant please! hahaha. Travel and Cohen just don't mix, well at least for me. Yeah yeah I know what you're thinking, excuses excuses haha!

We bought the Entertainer App on the iPhone so I did manage to save posts about all the food porn we did the past few months. Thus, the next few blogs will be all about that. And that pretty much sums up why I failed on the Cohen. #inmyface #sorrynotsorry haha.

Anyway, I am looking forward to Boston! It is a short 4-day trip though but it will be my first time in Boston. I'm not sure if I can do everything I've listed below but I'll try to squeeze in as much as I can after our training.

Luckily, my hotel is within walking distance from the Cambridgeside Galleria. It has Bath and Body Works, that's all I need hahaha. The plan is to go straight to this mall as soon as I arrive Tuesday night.

The Faneuil Hall Marketplace, which has the Quincy Market Food hall, is also another must place to visit. This is within walking distance from our office in Boston so I really hope to drop by this place.

And lastly, my food haul haha. There is a nearby Whole Foods Market and a not so nearby Trader Joe's. I'd be happy to drop any of these during my trip. Photo above was from Trader Joe's in the Bay Area during my last trip. I was so happy to finally get to visit Trader Joe's. I think the people (or should I say Filipinos) have gotten over the Speculoos Cookie Butter craze as it was fully stocked in Trader Joe's. I remember friends saying you had to ask for it from the counter several months back as they did not put it on display due to some people hoarding it.

So that is what's been going on the past few months for me. I pray for safe travels and I will try my best to be visible here (as if anyone cares haha). Live, Love and Eat!
