Bridesmaids

I haven't done a movie review in a long time, despite the fact that I've seen quite a number of movies lately (The Hangover Part 2, X-men First Class and Kung Fu Panda 2), but this movie is soooo hilarious that I just have to make a review! :-)

[Spoiler Alert]

The trailer does no justice to the movie at all, in fact I had no interest or plans whatsoever on seeing this movie. I'm also boggled on why there isn't much hype or word-of-mouth on how fantastic this movie is. Thank god Zach asked me to watch this movie last night. Despite the fact we watched the midnight showing, I was wide-awake and laughing almost the entire time! It was reaalllyy hilarious!! Zach was laughing so hard in the theatre I had to nudge him a few times hehe.

My favorite part of the movie was definitely the part where Annie and Helen were trying to trump each other during the engagement party then Helen spoke in Thai - so effing hilarious! HAHAHAHA! The food poisoning scene was also funny but gross at the same time, reminded me of typical toilet/slapstick humor of filipino movies.

This movie was like the female version of "The Hangover" but waayyyyy funnier! I think it was even better than all the "Sex and the City" movies combined. Believe me it was that good! So good that I'd like to watch it one more time! hehe :-P A great stress reliever after a tiring week at work.

Last but not the least, Wilson Phillips' cameo appearance in the end was definitely classic! Their song "Hold On" should definitely be listed as a hall-of-famer hit in the 90's hehehe.

My rating is a 6 out of 5! :-P
