Every now and then I have mental glimpses of the Netherlands and I wish I was back there. What I miss the most aside from the cool weather is going to Albert Heijn supermarket haha. I really love wandering in supermarkets of other countries, it's such a visual and olfactory treat (wow olfactory hahaha).

I mentioned in this previous post about getting culture-shocked in the Red Light district. Prostitution is legal in Amsterdam, but based on my research (a.k.a. wikipedia), most of the prostitutes are foreigners and I guess the market is mainly for tourists. But really, it's a different kind of experience. Most of the people were actually just walking around as if they were in an open museum haha.
Live Porno show anyone? :-P (I couldn't find a family-friendly one hahaha)
It was still pretty early so most girls weren't at their "window" yet... (Haha look at the lady peeking at the girl, the husband could care less)

I loved the Boat houses... I heard though they stopped allowing more boat houses on the canal (I guess to prevent pollution and overcrowding)
