The F-word blog is about the 4 F's that I enjoy the most in life. Food for eating out, Film for watching movies & Flight for traveling. I will also be documenting my ATTEMPT (Again, I say ATTEMPT hehe) on losing weight, hence the last F for Fitness.

2009 - New Year's Resolutions
To be honest, I never really make yearly resolutions as I feel you forget about them faster than it takes you to think about them. But for the heck of blogging, and to check at the end of the year if ever I will achieve any of them, here I go.
As mentoned in the book "The Secret", using present tense rather than future tense in the words you choose will empower your New Year’s resolutions, by persuading the subconscious that what you want is happening now, rather than in some amorphous future (what the hell is amorphous hehe).
My List:
1. I do not obsess about my weight. In fact, I am comfortable and happy with my weight and looks and I continue to eat healthy and live an active & balanced lifestyle. Moreover, I do not waste my gym membership as I faithfully go to the gym at least 2x a week.
2. I do not judge people according to how they smell, whether their pits or their breath.
3. I do not judge people on how they look & their choice of clothing, especially "Lady in Red" & "Lady in Blue".
4. I faithfully go to church every sunday to thank for the numerous blessings & graces I have received, am receiving & will receive.
5. I do not fake sickness to go on MC and lie to the doctor so I can get excused from work.
6. I love my job! I love my job! I love my job!
7. In relation to #5, I do not wake up in the morning with going on MC as the first thing on my mind.
8. In relation to #6, I do not complain about my job during lunch hour.
9. I do not spend beyond my means and I always pay my credit card bills in full every month.
10. I save 40% of my salary and I continue to invest my savings.
11. In relation to #10, I travel overseas at least 3x a year but I still manage to save considerably.
12. I am not addicted to junkfood, specifically cheetos (cheddar jalapeno) and chocolate.
13. I do not steal food or drinks from my flatmates and use the excuse that they earn 2 or 3 times more than me. (hahaha, yes call me ghetto)
14. I do not judge people based on how well they speak english and where they finished college.
15. I always keep my new year's resolutions.
Wish me luck :-P

Happy New Year Shan!
I totally agree with your resolution #4. I've been trying to do that for the past few years now, but now I'm more determined for G's sake. She's in a Catholic school and I'm sending her for Catechism classes - so I need to set a good example...
wow thats good to know! having your child rooted in faith (whether catholic or not) is a great way of upbringing.
