Update (4Mar): Compromised Safety at the Universal Studios Singapore Galactica Rollercoaster
Just a quick update as I am doing this from the office:
I finally had the interview with the reporter last Wednesday, 2 March. Just this evening, my friend was also interviewed over the phone by the reporter. I heard the article is coming out tomorrow. I'm quite apprehensive as I know it will get mixed reactions from people but I'm sure the intelligent public will know the purpose of me sharing my story.

I just received a call from a reporter for The New Paper. The New Paper is Singapore's second-highest circulating paid English-language newspaper, first launched on July 26, 1988, by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). Its daily circulation is around 110,000.

Update (28Feb): Compromised Safety at the Universal Studios Singapore Galactica Rollercoaster
This morning I received a call from a Lady from the Forum section of The Straits Times. The Straits Times is an English language daily broadsheet newspaper based in Singapore currently owned by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). It is the country's highest-selling paper.

Update (27Feb): Compromised Safety at the Universal Studios Singapore Galactica Rollercoaster
I just received a call from a columnist named "Mia" of Lianhe Wanbao. Lianhe Wanbao (literally United Evening Paper) is a Singapore Chinese afternoon newspaper published daily by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).

Compromised Safety at the Universal Studios Singapore Galactica Rollercoaster
I had the most unfortunate incident at Universal Studios Singapore yesterday. I have written to all the major publications here in Singapore, including NBC Universal and Universal Studios Orlando in the US.
As of today, 27 Feb, the Universal Studios Orlando responded to my email and forwarded my concern to US Singapore. Just a few minutes ago, someone from US Singapore called to say they received my letter from US Orlando and ensured they would address the issue (though at this point I don't know what exact measures will be done as I'm sure it's their standard protocol to apologise and tell customers that they will do something about it).
I will update this blog as soon as I hear news from the press or US Singapore management. Below is the letter I had sent out:
